(comment) Alongside "Metropolis" and "The World to Come," it is called one of the three early SF masterpieces. This work, drawn repeatedly since the author's junior high school days before debut and revised under a new title, can be considered one of the culminating works of early science fiction. The two volumes, "Earth Part" for the first part and "Space Part" for the latter, were both released on the same day, and there are several versions with different publication dates since December 1948. The set introduced this time is the third edition of both volumes, published in March 1949. This "Lost" edition has a binding where the core materials of the cover, spine, and back cover are made separately, making the spine prone to coming off easily, which makes its condition and remaining parts crucial for evaluating its state. The spine is always missing, so even a little remaining is considered quite fortunate. Among them, the individual introduced this time still has its spine fully intact, and the other parts are all excellent and beautiful volumes. You rarely come across items in such condition (Kubo).

Earth Edition - March 15, 1949 (Showa 24) Third edition: the first edition was published on December 20, 1948 (Showa 23).
Space Edition - March 1, 1949 (Showa 24) Third edition: the first edition was published on December 20, 1948 (Showa 23).
