(comment) This is a complete set of the "Uetsufumi," an important ancient historical document on super-ancient history by the Kamakura warrior Otomo Yoshiaki, who is said by some to be a son of Yoritomo. It was published in 1935 by the Jindai Culture Research Institute. The original has been lost, and this book is based on the standard edition of a manuscript (commonly known as the Munakata edition) discovered in 1831 by the Kokugaku scholar Yukimatsu Haeda, with a supplemented translation. It is written in the ancient Toyokuni script and, alongside the Takeuchi Documents, is considered a representative forgery, but it can be said to be an essential material for those researching the B side of ancient Japanese history (Kubota).
