(comment) A handwritten colored autograph of "Black Jack" presented by Osamu Tezuka when he visited the Toshiba pavilion at the 1985 Tsukuba Science Expo. Osamu Tezuka actively collaborated on EXPO ’85-related work, handling the poster for the Tsukuba ’85 Science Expo and taking part in interviews and panel discussions. In 1985 he had already finished serializing Black Jack and was then serializing works such as Hidamari no Ki, Bukkira ni Yoroshiku!, and The Goblin Duke. The bust-up illustration leaves an impression of a stern, tightly composed Black Jack. The shikishi is also inscribed with "EXPO '85 Toshiba Pavilion 85.7.17," making it a valuable piece of evidence that Osamu Tezuka was indeed at that place on that day (Wataru Sato).
