(comment) His delicate and beautiful drawings were a testament to his early death at the age of 26 in 1980. He was an artist whose works embodied "high quality." He also excelled in aesthetic BL. He depicted a beautiful young man filled with melancholy. The autographed self-portrait is a welcome addition (Kinjo).
"Yaoi" was born in the ancient city of Kanazawa in 1970.
RAPPORI Editor-in-Chief: Hatzu Akiko. It was defined by the manga doujinshi that merged the manga study group "Lovely," organized by Yasuko Sakata, and the manga club "Rapponpon," to which Hatzu belonged. It plays an important role in the history of BL. A pioneer of doujinshi, Yasuko Sakata published the first issue of "Lovely" in 1972 with Yukiko Hanai. At the time, Yasuko Sakata was 18, and Kimiko Kaihatsu (Yukiko Hanai) was 16. Around the same time, she first visited the Oizumi Salon, where Hagio and Takemiya shared a home, together with Hanai Yukiko. Later, in 1975, Kaihatsu Akiko (Hatsu Akiko) joined the "Lavry" copy supplement, Mermaid Princess. "Lavry" has been one of the top original creation circles in the country since the late 1970s. Among them, Sakata Yasuko's aesthetic BL "Amon and Asurael," a BL derivative work based on the 1967 American film "The Battle of the High Plains," was extremely popular and was later published in a commercial magazine, and its influence on the doujin world outside of commercial magazines is immeasurable. Also, from 1980, she began working in JUNE together with Hatzu Akiko and Sakata Yasuko. She is an author who cannot be left out when talking about the prehistory of BL (Kinjo).
