(comment) Fumiko Takano’s first collected volume. The titular "Absolutely Safe Razor" was Takano's commercial debut and, through editor Toshihiko Sagawa-who had known him since his doujin circle days with Rakushokan-was published in JUNE. First released in 1979, this short story, which uses the ennui of two male students in gakuran uniforms and a suicide by safety razor as its motifs, showcases the breadth of JUNE from when the magazine's genres were still undifferentiated.
