(comment) [Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ] Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ aired from 1986 to 1987, immediately following the broadcast of its predecessor , Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, and consisted of 47 episodes. The Setting takes place seven days after the end of the Gryps Conflict, when the country is in a condition of chaos and anarchy due to the effects of the conflict. Axis, which was the third force in the previous series, has changed its name to Neo Zeon and is attempting to restore the rusted family, advancing on the colonies and causing the First Neo Zeon War, also known as the Haman War. By chance, Judau pilots the Zeta Gundam and becomes a member of the A.E.U.G., playing a central role in the fight against the Neo Zeon forces. Within the A.E.U.G., he forms a Gundam team with his comrades from Side 1, switches to the latest mobile suit ZZ-Gundam, and ultimately faces off against Haman in a one-on-one battle.
