(comment) The "J9"series was popular in anime parody doujinshi before Captain Tsubasa. Tachibana Shiina was the leading author of Bryger, even using the circle name Bryger Syndrome. In the 1990s, she expanded her activities mainly as a manga artist and illustrator specializing in BL (Boys' Love) works.

In the doujinshi world, anime parodies, or "aniparo," began to flourish in the 1980s. In terms of magazines, Rapport's "Fanroad" and Minori Shobou's "Monthly OUT" were leading examples , and others magazines were also influenced to some extent by this trend and included sections for doujinshi illustrations. Doujin culture nurtured author, deepened the context of works, added depth to Genre , and became a driving force in the maturation of Japanese manga and anime culture. In this issue, we have collected doujinshi illustrations of mecha anime that emerged in the early 1980s . When it comes to anime parody doujinshi, Captain Tsubasa and Saint Seiya are the most well-known, but mecha anime were just as popular. All of these illustrations were by top author of the time, and they were very difficult to obtain, both then and now (Yamaya).
