(comment) This is an independent photo collection by Tadayuki Kawato, a photographer who has long been active in the advertising industry. After going independent, his work mainly consisted of portraits of actresses and celebrities, but in his younger days, he seems to have irregularly published experimental and ambitious works. The first issue is "LIGHT ON," a collection of portraits taken in crowded places and shops. A series of provocative women appear, but among them, the woman who boldly displays her nude body among priced goods is particularly striking. The second issue is "SNAKE," as the title suggests, depicting men and women intertwined like snakes. The third issue, "Slug," features dancers Yoko Ashikawa and Saga Kobayashi, who studied under Tatsumi Hijikata. It captures the dance with a sense of realism. The fourth issue is "Kiriko," and unlike his previous works, a moist atmosphere permeates the entire book (Sakuma).
