(comment) [Choujin Sentai Jetman] Lead: Choujin Sentai Jetman is the 15th installment in the Super Sentai series, airing from 1991 to 1992 for a total of 51 episodes. Due to the previous series , Chikyu Sentai Fiveman, suffering from repetitive content and low ratings, Jetman was produced as an innovative attempt to target not only children but also adults by incorporating romance into the daily lives of the five warriors fighting the invaders, Vyram. One difference is that while previous Sentai series typically involved the warriors calling each other by code names after Henshin , the five warriors of Jetman call each other by their Henshin names even after Henshin throughout the series, and they don't all Henshin in every episode, resulting in a realistic fighting style. But the most innovative aspect is the realistic incorporation of love and hate dramas within the team, based on the idea that "it's unnatural to have no romantic elements within the team." Furthermore, the enemy organization Baira doesn't have a Setting boss, and the four executives constantly try to sabotage each other, creating a new aspect with internal conflicts. Also, the pattern of enemies growing to giant size and being defeated by robots is replaced with being defeated only by life-sized warriors, breaking away from the flow of previous Sentai series and making a strong effort to break the monotony, making it a truly epoch-making work (Sakaki) [DX Great Icaros] Comments The two robots Jet Icaros and Jet Garuda combine to form the giant robot Great Icaros with the cry of "Combine! Great Scrum". The toy comes in a super-large box containing the boxes for DX Chogokin Jet Icaros and the super-dreadnought DX Jet Garuda. So if you get DX Great Icaros, you can enjoy both the set box and the individual boxes, which can only be obtained with this set. Up until Jetman, the DX Chogokin, and after this, they were made with thick ABS plastic. As a result, the combined Great Icaros is quite large at 41cm, and its proportions are excellent. The DX Great Icaros was released later than other models, resulting in low sales figures at the time. This massive set box is 70cm tall, too large for a child to carry, and is often dented or tears, making it rare to find one in good condition . The item being offered here is in excellent condition , including the handle area on the side. (Sakaki)
