(comment) This is a piece of artwork from 1725, later given to me by Yuji Horii himself. It's a common pattern to think of someone as a friendly, approachable old man only to discover they're actually an amazing person, but it's interesting that this was Yuji Horii. He's known as the creator of Dragon Quest, but he originally aspired to be a manga artist, and this illustration is a famous self-portrait (Yamaya).
