(comment) Released in 2002. This is an Excelina manufactured and sold by Star Co. under license from Takara . It's a larger 52cm doll version of the 1/6 scale (27cm) Excelina . The outfit is based on the design of the Excelina dress that debuted in 1984, but with added details that were impossible to achieve in the smaller 1/6 scale (lace on the collar, shirt buttons, covered buttons on the jumper Skirt, etc.). It enhances the Excelina's characteristic "antique doll-like atmosphere," resulting in a finish that goes beyond mere faithful reproduction. A masterpiece that shows respect for the Original doll.
