(comment) "Doll Girl" was published by Kazuo Umezu from 1960 to the following year. Published in the school year magazines "Fun 5th Grade" (January to March 1960) and "Fun 6th Grade" (April 1960 to March 1961). The 15-part series, which included a mid-year break in between, was Umezu's longest series at the time. It was also published by the major Kodansha, and its content, both in terms of quality and volume, was an important work that propelled Umezu into a major presence. A collection of 12 manuscripts of works that cannot be ignored when talking about Umezu is now available. I think this is a must-see masterpiece not only for Umezu fans, but also for girls' manga, bizarre manga fans, and all manga lovers (Kubo)
