(comment) This is a red omen that consolidates fear into a human form.
In the chaos of the early 1950s, when neither "gekiga" nor "horror manga" were established as genres, the papier-mache surface of a young Kazuo Umezu's trajectory was drawn to decorate his room and sharpen his sensibilities.
Are you prepared to take on the mass of the "primordial fear" that first resided in Kazuo Umezu's brain?
Kazuo Umezu gives a face to "fear" with red demons, mask paper, glue, and coloring, but the essence is not the material.
Something that is dark and mirror-like
Using the papier-mache technique, which is made by hardening newspapers and washi paper into shapes with glue, the surface is painted with ominous yet powerful coloring by Umezu himself.
This was the "Omen'' of all the horrors that would later lead to the "Snake Woman,'' "Baptism,'' and "The Drifting Classroom,'' which would rewrite Japanese culture.
The origin, provenance, materials, and production method are all clarified, and Amandarake's authenticity certificate is included.
Mandarake's authenticity appraisal is the only one in the world of subculture content with a long history and system.
