(comment) Akira Matsumoto series
Ritsushido Bookstore - Honcho, Yawata City

Issued on June 10, 1958. A title that will be Leiji Matsumoto's book debut.
Originally in 1956, the study work that was produced under the title of "Another World Adventure" was made into a book.
Early Matsumoto has a strong image of romantic girls, but this is a work that emphasizes "SF". It can be said that it is a historical book that can be said to be the origin of Matsumoto, where romance and the vast universe intersect.
Also, as a noteworthy point of this one book, the signature and the figure of the heroine character Fanta appearing in the work are drawn on the endpaper.
This book was originally owned by a university teacher in the Chubu region after being rented out as a research material. A product that was signed and illustrated with the name ("Akira Matsumoto") on the date of issue. At the beginning of the 2000s, the new collector brought the book back to Matsumoto himself. Although acrylic dyes with low transparency are used for coloring, "Reijisha often used airbrush coloring when creating illustrations and manuscripts, but they were scattered throughout the atelier. The traces of smears that had been applied to the skin evoked concerns about health, and the frequency of use of the technique gradually decreased. There is also an anecdote that the Liquitex, which had been reserved for that purpose, became too much, and it was easy to use because there were many at hand at the time.
As the first valuable book, I visited Leiji Matsumoto himself several times. It is truly a unique existence (Kubo)
