(comment) Ushioni can be read in two ways: Ushioni and Gyuki, and Gyuki often refers to a six-legged y kai in the form of a cow, which is said to have been passed down mainly in Western Japan. The Daiei version of Ushio has a single horn in the third eye. Not only is it smaller than the other monsters in the series, it also has a cute design that makes it look like a mascot character.
