(comment) Illustration used in Suntory's calendar. It depicts the battleship Yamato advancing through a dimly lit moonlit sea to rescue its consort ships. The moonlit night and the waves are skillfully painted in shading to bring out Yamato. Yamato is drawn with great precision, but it gives off an inorganic and cold impression that makes my heart tighten (Matsuda)
