(comment) In Volume 25 of the comics, while Guts and his party are reinforcing a neighboring village being attacked by beast demons (trolls), this is an unpublished draft depicting Schierke, the apprentice of the witch Flora, casting a protective spell to save the village. The scene corresponds to pages 20 and 21 of "Magic" in Volume 25, where the Holy Four Kings are being summoned: the speech bubbles contain lines that are part of the incantation (Kobayashi Yo).
