Item's Details

(item number) 5121
(title) Tetsuya Chiba's hand-drawn color shikishi "Ashita no Joe"
(size) 240×271mm
(detailed) 6 (yellowing, wrinkles, stains, edge and corner damage)
(starting bid price) 250,000 yen

(comment) Unlike the mature youth Joe depicted in the Heisei era, Joe Yabuki's facial expression retains traces of the boy he was before he made his professional debut. The shikishi Joe from the Heisei to Reiwa periods has an expression with far-sighted eyes staring into the distance, but this Joe has an expression that hides the strength to pursue his dreams, as if looking at the stars in the sky (Takayasu)
