(comment) This scene depicts Leo drifting at sea, surrounded by his sea friends who come to his aid. This is also the opening scene of the entire "Jungle Emperor Leo (Kimba The White Lion)" series. Three columns remain, with one column of content at the lower part cut off, suggesting it was originally a four-column layout. "Manga Shonen," the Manga Shonen in which " Jungle Emperor Leo (Kimba The White Lion) " was first serialized, was published in a square format for a period from 1951 to 1952 (Showa 26-27), but for other periods before and after, it was published in B5 format, and the first Tankobon was also published in square format to match.
