(comment) This is a very rare illustration from Tomomi Kobayashi's doujin days, who is famous for her work on Romancing SaGa. The avant-garde way she depicts the subject matter has a Kiriko Shioyama-esque feel to it. As can be seen on her official website, the artist's cheerful personality, which is in stark contrast to her art style, is also appealing (Yamaya).

In the 1980s, anime parodies, or "aniparo" for short, began to flourish in the doujin world. In terms of magazines, Rapport's "Fanroad" and Minori Shobou's "Monthly OUT" were leading examples , and others magazines were also influenced by this trend and included sections for doujin illustrations. Doujin culture nurtured author, deepened the context of works, added depth to Genre , and became a driving force in the maturation of Japanese manga and anime culture.
