(comment) Daimos is the third installment in the Nagahama Romantic Robot series. This series is particularly famous for its handsome alien antagonists, and Richter from Daimos is one of them. Kazuko Mizuki later had a long and successful career in commercial manga under the name Yayoi Takeda, but she was also a major figure as a doujin author , even designing the cover page for the Comiket catalog .

In the doujin world, anime parodies, or "aniparo" as they're called, began to flourish in the 1980s. Leading examples in magazines were Rapport's "Fanroad" and Minori Shobou's "Monthly OUT , and others magazines were also influenced by this trend and included sections for doujin illustrations. Doujin culture nurtured author, deepened the context of works, added depth to Genre , and became a driving force in the maturation of Japanese manga and anime culture. This issue features a collection of doujin illustrations of mecha anime from the early 1980s . When it comes to anime parody doujinshi, Captain Tsubasa and Saint Seiya are the most well-known, but mecha anime were just as popular.
