(comment) This is one of the illustrations published in the doujinshi "Just Being Drunk Makes Me Urine a Lot" at the Winter Comiket in 2004. Unlike the double-page a two-page spread previously exhibited at Mandarake ZENBU, this single-page illustration captures the entire robot, giving it more of a Setting art feel than an image from the story. The unique joints that allow for the robot's fluid movements are interesting, but the abundance of weapons, reminiscent of Guts from Berserk and designed for fighting multiple opponents, truly showcases Kentaro Miura's author style. Here, for the first time, we see the face of the boy piloting the robot, and the cylindrical device attached to his neck and the tube connected to his nose reveal the harsh environment surrounding him. How strong must Kentaro Miura's feelings have been to create such an illustration for a small-print doujinshi while busy with magazine serialization?
